A & P - John Updike A & P takes place in a community inland that is sandy, further near the coast. It s knavets out in the supermarket in which three girls in bathing suits walk in. One of these girls catches the eye of Sammy, which is working at the supermarket, Queenie. The one that caught my eye first was the one in the tar sunburn green deuce-piece.
